2009 Rally thank you

Thanks to:

In the afternoon voting was held for the following categories, with winners as follows:

Best Oldtimer: Scott Twiname of Auckland – Lambretta
Best Unrestored: Yuri Erakovich of Auckland – Vespa
Best Indian scooter: Nick Whiting of Wellington – Bajaj Chetak
Best Rat scooter: Shane O'Leary of Whakatane – “Bluecati Nuova”
Best PX: Peter Clarke of Palmerston North – PX200
Best Other: Mark Brown of Nelson – James
People’s Choice: Mark Brown of Nelson – Velocette Viceroy
Best Scootergirl: Kate Zwartz of Wellington – Honda C90
Furthest Travelled (unnecessarily): Lance Robson of Napier – 1940km in four days.

Rally update

Friday night accommodation at Pukeora also available.

Free swimming at indoor pool (unheated).

Meals: (other than $12 Sunday morning continental breakfast included in entry fee).

Sunday evening at Pukeora: cooked (generous main, dessert, tea/coffee) $30
Monday morning at Pukeora: cooked $20 or continental $12. (Monday is a public holiday, other meal options could be limited)

Meals need to be booked by one week prior to the rally.

Special dietary needs can be catered for if advised (eg vege, dairy free, gluten free).

NZCSC 2009 Rally - Labour Weekend

New Zealand Classic Scooter Club 2009 Rally

Labour Weekend 2009 (Sat 24th - Mon 26th October) - Pukeora Estate (just south of Waipukurau, Central Hawkes Bay). All accommodation onsite.

From 1pm Saturday 24th October at Pukeora.
Meet and socialise onsite - informal.
Evening meal: your choice of Waipukurau's dining experience (Subway, pubs, cafe's, supermarket - New World, Woolworths)

Pukeora Sunday 25th October.
Continental breakfast supplied as part of entry fee.
Ride starting 10 - 10:30am.
Lunch in Waipukurau.
Games at Pukeora carpark Sunday afternoon.
Evening meal and prizegiving: TBA, onsite at Pukeora - booking form out soon.

Monday:
Breakfast: booking form out soon for those who would like breakfast onsite, otherwise a Waipukurau cafe, or make your own.
Farewells and departure.
